Beachwalk Residents

Sea Turtle Watercolor

Date: April 23, 9:30am-12:00pm
Discover watercolors in this class and create a majestic sea turtle. Explore watercolor techniques: glazing, masking, puddling, salt, wet on dry and wet on wet. All materials will be included. All artistic levels are welcome!

Seahorse with Acrylic Texture

Date: April 30, 9:30am-12:00pm
In this workshop, students will learn to use texture medium with acrylic paints to create a dimensional abstract seahorse on a canvas. Learn the fundamentals of working with acrylic paint and texture medium. Explore the scope of color mixing, composition, color theory and drawing. All artistic levels are welcome.

Blue Heron Watercolor

Join us for an engaging watercolor art class where you’ll create a Beautiful Heron! Learn essential drawing skills and watercolor techniques, including glazing, masking, puddling, salt, wet on dry, and wet on wet. This workshop is perfect for beginners, but all artistic levels are welcome!

Our Adult Art Programs

• Classical Drawing: Learn the principles of proportion, shading, and perspective. Work in graphite, charcoal, colored pencils and ink.
• Oil and Acrylic Painting: Understand color theory, brush techniques, and texture application. Create still lifes, portraits, animals and landscapes.
• Watercolor Exploration: Discover fundamental techniques of wet on wet, wet on dry, washes, lifting, masking, textures.
• Mixed Media and Abstract Art: Combination of 2 or more different mediums for layering and collage.
• Portfolio Development for Adults: For adults considering a career change, freelance art, or gallery submissions. One-on-one mentorship with our senior faculty.
